Job summary

Pinnacle National Group in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position to provide comprehensive care across medical, surgical and rehabilitation services.

You will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vital signs, document progress and collaborate with the care team to develop individualized treatment plans while upholding patient-centered care and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas.
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required.
• One year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring of vital signs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring documentation and safe administration practices.
• Perform nursing procedures, such as wound care, injections, and IV therapy, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Monitor and maintain patient records, including medical histories, progress notes, and vital signs.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control protocols and facility guidelines.
