Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Texas State RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP within 60 days of hire or as noted.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient, family and significant other needs and adapt care plans.
• Initiate and evaluate patient care plans; reassess ongoing needs.
• Document all plans and care provided.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and discharge planning.
• Administer medications and manage hand-offs between staff and shifts.
• Promote professional standards and Studer Principles in care.
• Facilitate patient movement and admissions/discharges within the facility.
