Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Community Reintegration Unit at The McLean Hospital Corporation in Belmont, MA. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, use data sources to determine health problems, and support a recovery-oriented approach to care.

The role requires MA RN licensure, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred; no experience is required, though 1 year of medical/psychiatric experience is a plus. Rotating shifts apply.

• Accurately assess patients’ needs.
• Utilize multiple data sources to determine health problems and functional status.
• Utilize Recovery Oriented Framework to identify patient strengths.
• Perform point of care testing.
• Communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
• Document responses to interventions and treatment.
• Identify patient behaviors contributing to crises and de-escalate situations.
• Plan nursing interventions for assigned patients.
• Modify and individualize Nursing Plan of Care and protocols.
• Participate in the development of the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
