Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia Health System is seeking a capable Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team in Charlottesville. You will provide direct patient care, participate in care planning with families, physicians, and colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of clinical practice.

Requirements include a BSN to be completed within 5 years of hire, at least 1 year of relevant experience, Virginia RN licensure, and AHA BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required; must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia; AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Manage care and implement treatment plans with patients and families.
