Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a capable RN to join the nursing team. The role focuses on direct patient care with opportunities for growth through leadership experiences and involvement in governance through VOICE and Nursing Quality Teams.

For new graduates, there is an RN Residency Program, while experienced RNs coordinate care across shifts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure in Georgia.
• Associates Degree in nursing required.
• One year of RN experience required; new grads may enter RN Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates basic assessment skills and follows nursing process.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and plan discharge.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues; contribute to patient safety.
• Participate in PI processes and supportive governance initiatives.
• Assume nurse-leader responsibilities on request, including Nurse in Charge duties.
