Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Education

RN license

Basic Life Support (BLS)

ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC.. certifications
