Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nursing care following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques.

  • Assist providers with patient care and education, ensuring patients understand their treatment plans.
  • Collaborate as a member of the healthcare team to coordinate care for patients, families, and caregivers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of practical nursing principles and skills necessary for quality patient care, including examination, diagnostic, and treatment procedures.
  • Awareness of common safety hazards and precautions.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly understand and follow written and verbal instructions from physicians.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in identifying and analyzing problems, prioritizing tasks, making confident decisions, and recommending effective solutions.
  • Capability to administer a variety of medications and treatments and operate various types of medical equipment for examination and treatment procedures.
Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Current State Registered Nurse license.
  • CPR certification.
Experience:
  • One year of nursing experience preferred.
