Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse in an OR designated area of practice required.
• Attendance in the Charge Nurse Workshop and successful completion of the MUHA Charge Nurse Competency-Based Orientation required within 6 months of hire.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• Some positions require certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
