Job summary

The RN will be prepared to act as charge nurse when assigned, maintaining accountability for all patients under their care and coordinating with the healthcare team.

The role requires Florida RN licensure with BLS on day one, ACLS and PALS as department needs, and a BSN within three years of hire (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Associate degree required; BSN within 3 years of hire; BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN license or eligibility for issuance upon SSN.
• BLS on first day; ACLS/PALS as departmental requirements; NRP if applicable.
• Crisis Prevention Institute training within 90 days, then annually for Psych Unit.
• Experience: less than one year; preferred: one year of clinical experience.
