Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• RN licensure in Alabama or a valid compact state license is required.
• Experience substitutable by education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and unit competencies.
• Supervise, plan, evaluate, and coordinate care with licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Administer medications, including controlled substances, and manage blood products as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using hospital systems.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards and ensure compliance with policies.
