Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time position reports to the Lab Manager and involves performing technical and nursing procedures with independent judgement.

Requirements include a California RN license and BLS certification; two years of critical care and four years in a Cardiac Cath Lab are preferred. Assaultive Behavior Management training within 90 days from date of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of critical care nursing experience, preferably cardiac.
• Four years of recent working experience in a full service Cardiac Cath Lab is preferred.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical and nursing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab with independent judgement.
• Report to the Manager of Cardiac Cath Lab and/or supervisor as assigned.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care during procedures and post-procedure monitoring.

Full Time - position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Manager of Cardiac Cath. Lab and/or designated supervisor, this position will perform a variety of technical and/or nursing procedures that will require independent judgement and initiative of technical level not requiring constant supervision.

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements

Two (2) years of critical care nursing experience, preferably cardiac.

Four (4) years of recent working experience in a full service Cardiac Cath. Lab is preferred.

Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association required.

A.B.P. certificate preferred

Assaultive Behavior Management training is required within 90 days from date of hire.
