Description

RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT permitted to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a Cancel and DNR.

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Unit accepts first-time travelers.
• Locals accepted / Rate difference applies.
• Skills: IR experience required (Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry), willing to provide STEMI call in the past.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.

Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience

• Skills: IV Start, Triage, PA Lines, Conscious Sedation.

Job Details

• Target Ratios: 3:4.
• Contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025.
• Shift: 8 Hour DAYS, 07:30 - 16:00.
• Weekly rotation for procedure coverage, 24/7 call coverage for STEMI/emergent/urgent IR and cardiology procedures.
• Call Requirements: Weekday 16:00 - 07:30, Weekend Friday 16:00 to Monday 07:30, two call nights per week for two weeks, one call weekend per month, plus additional occasional calls.
• Callback time: 30 minutes for STEMIs; IR callback time varies.
• Call team: 3 staff members, including one RN.
• Float requirement: None.
• Weekend requirement: Twice a week for two weeks, one call weekend per month, and one week without calls following the call weekend.

Patient Diagnoses & Department Details

Experience in Cath Lab and IR required. Department includes interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular, and EP device implant procedures. Equipment used includes MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, among others. Lab hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, with 24/7 call coverage.

Other Details

Unit orientation: 16 hours. Scrubs provided. Interview availability required within 72 hours for candidate approval.
