Job summary

Lee's Summit Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to plan and execute comprehensive patient care around procedures. You will maintain sterile field, monitor vitals and sedation, and guide non-licensed staff within the RN scope of practice.

The role requires a nursing degree, current Missouri licensure, and ACLS certification within 6 months. Prior cardiovascular lab experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Current state nursing license required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills required.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience in an ICU or ER setting required.
• Previous cardiovascular lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans before, during and after the procedure to optimize outcomes and maximize resources.

• Monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels and physical/emotional well-being.
