Hiring! We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This casual
part-time position is responsible for the implementation of
health/medical-related activities to meet client and program needs
specified within DHS 40 regulations. There may be other opportunities
for agency health/medical-related services. This position will work
approximately 5-7 hours per week for our Day Treatment program, which
runs Monday-Friday from 8:30am-2:00pm. Key Responsibilities Coordinate
medical services to ensure clients\' health and medical needs are being
met. Monitor medication compliance on clients, as needed, including
communication with physicians and pharmacies. Review medication errors.
Complete and document regular health assessments of all clients. These
assessments include vital signs, heigh, weight, lung sounds and
monitoring of side effects as specified by the prescribing physician.
Conduct client education groups, including a minimum of three to six
hours per group per week at Day Treatment. Qualifications Education:
Required: Bachelor\'s degree in nursing Experience: Required: 1 year of
experience working in a clinical setting with youth OR training in
providing services to youth with mental illness or severe emotional
disturbance. Required Licensure: Current Wisconsin state licensure to
practice as a Registered Nurse. CPR and Basic Life Support Instructor
Certification or License. Skills and Competencies: Commitment to the
ethical treatment of clients. Ability to establish and maintain
professional boundaries and relationships within and outside the agency
in a professional manner. Family Services is able to obtain malpractice
insurance on your behalf. Maintain eligibility to practice and active
status with your licensing board through the State of Wisconsin
Department of Regulation and Licensing. Valid Wisconsin Driver\'s
License with reliable personal vehicle. Maintain required auto insurance
