Baptist Health is seeking an RN with an Associate Degree to support discharge planning, utilization management and care coordination across pre-acute and post-acute settings. The role requires current RN licensure and strong communication and analytical skills.

Candidates should have hospital clinical experience and ideally 1–3 years in case management. Independence and sound judgment are essential in interactions with patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifikationen

• RN with Associate Degree can continue in a non-leadership RN role; BSN required within 3 years for certain hires.
• 3 years hospital clinical experience; 1–3 years in hospital or payor Case Management preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, data management and computer skills.
• Current knowledge of discharge planning, utilization management, case management and performance improvement preferred.
• Understanding of pre-acute and post-acute care venues and post-community resources preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with the health care team and patients/families.

Additional Qualifications:

• RNs hired prior to 2/2012 (10/1/2017 at Bethesda or 7/1/2019 at BRRH) with an Associate Degree are not required to have a BSN to continue their non-leadership role as an RN, however, they are required to complete BSN within 3 years of job entry date.
• 3 years of hospital clinical experience with a minimum of 1-3 years of hospital or payor Case Management experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, data management and computer skills.
• Current working knowledge of discharge planning, utilization management, case management and performance improvement preferred.
• Understanding of pre-acute and post-acute venues of care and post-community resources preferred.
