Qualifications

• Licensure: BLS certification required; multi-state license preferred

Responsibilities

• Engage in councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team
• Promote a culture of safety
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation
• May administer medications per clinical protocols
• Provide clear communication and collaboration with team
• Pursue professional development and maintain certifications
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making
• Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and UAPs
• May float to other units within service area as needed
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care and growth/development considerations
