Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned Hackensack Meridian Health location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients.
• Direct and oversee care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation and coordination.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing

BSN in progress or willing to pursue within 3 years of hire
