Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care with an emphasis on collaboration within an interdisciplinary team. The role requires a nursing degree, active RN licensure, and readiness to obtain BSN within three years of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Must have a current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• Six or more months of nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of patients.
• Direct and oversee care by delegating, validating, evaluating, and coordinating as appropriate.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
