Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Operating Room in Florida. The RN-CVOR will work as part of the surgical team to care for patients undergoing complex heart, lung, and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities include room setup, patient monitoring, medication administration, bypass machine assistance, and post-operative care. Florida licensure and CVOR experience are essential; BSN preferred and ACLS/BLS/PALS required.

Qualifications

• Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an Acute Care environment is required.
• Compact license holders who need FL license may be considered; FL license required for practice.
• BSN is preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required.
• NCLEX in FL may be needed if no FL RN license.
• CNOR preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiovascular Operating Room will have the following job responsibilities:

• A Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nurse is a specialized Registered Nurse (RN) who provides patient care before, during, and after complex heart, lung, and vascular surgical procedures, working as part of the surgical team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Key responsibilities include preparing the operating room and equipment, monitoring the patient's vital signs, administering medications, assisting with the cardiopulmonary bypass machine, and managing post-operative care.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiovascular Operating Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an Acute Care environment Required!
• If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (Theyll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
• BSN is preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required
• If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, theyll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
• CNOR preferred
