Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL seeks a Perioperative Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Operating Room at Glenbrook Hospital. This full-time role runs 6:30 a.m.

to 3 p.m., Monday–Friday with rotating call, weekends and holidays. You will provide direct perioperative care for pediatric to geriatric patients, act as patient advocate, ensure safety, and assist with staff orientation and equipment readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing is required.
• BSN preferred when selecting candidates.
• IL RN License is required to practice in Illinois.
• CPR/BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association is required.
• About 2 years of perioperative RN experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are expected.

The perioperative nurse functions as patient advocate. He/she assesses the surgical environment for potential patient safety concerns and intervenes appropriately while working with the surgical team to facilitate the completion of the surgical procedure.
