Position Summary

To fulfill the needs of patients in a variety of age groups, their family members, and the community by performing varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing)
• CPR certifications

Qualifications

• Experience with computer and keyboard skills
• Medical terminology required

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Full range of body motion including assisting patients, stretching, bending, lifting, sitting, kneeling, stooping, standing, walking, pushing and pulling
• Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, or 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly
• Manual and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination
• Constant talking and listening in English
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including speech clarity
• Deductive and inductive reasoning skills
• Walking, standing, sitting, reaching, filing, typing and photocopying
• High attention to detail, ability to switch tasks without loss of efficiency
• Ability to function in stressful situations and changing work environments related to acute, chronic, complex and/or terminal disease processes
• Cooperate with multidisciplinary team members (MDs, Rehab, Respiratory, DI, Laboratory, etc.)
• Effective time management to prioritize responsibilities, problem solve and deliver care

Salary

Pay Range: $47.80 - $59.75 per hour. Salary varies based on role, experience, education, and licensure.
