Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience
• Certs: ACLS

JOB DETAILS:

• Ratios: 1:6-7
• Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36 ONLY. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!
• RTO: 7 days MAX
• Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED
• Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (every other weekend)
• Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. May be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Possible consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract and preassignment to units as needed.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc). Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE: Self

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours

SCRUBS: Navy
