Job summary

Texas Health Huguley in Burleson, TX is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time day shift. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

The role requires RN licensure with BLS and ACLS, and preferred Cerner/EPIC EMR experience. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential for success in this unit.

Qualifications

• RN licensed (Required) and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Experience in critical care nursing desirable.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• EKG knowledge based on patient population required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated care.

Job Description:

7:00am - 7:00pm (3 shifts per week)

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
