ABOUT THE Critical Care/Cardiac Care Unit DEPARTMENT AT BOSTON MEDICAL CENTER:
The Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) is an 8 bed unit that provides critical care nursing to complex cardiology patients. The types of patients that are frequently admitted include STEMIs, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, TAVRS (trans femoral aortic valve replacements) and patients with dysrhythmias.
Position Summary
As an RN in the Critical Care unit, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.
