Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide patient care across age groups and support families and the community. The role emphasizes adherence to licensure, certification, and regulatory standards, with mandatory BSN or higher for new hires and an active New Jersey license.

Ideal candidates will have strong computer skills, medical terminology knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN within 12/1/11 or a Master's degree in Nursing is minimum for new hires.
• Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from NJ Board of Nursing).
• Computer and keyboard skills; Medical terminology.
• Strong communication abilities in English; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill patient care tasks for varied age groups and families.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team (MDs, Rehab, Respiratory, DI, Laboratory, etc.).
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
