Qualifications

• Completion of general nursing orientation, CPR certification, and unit‑based orientation.
• Physical ability to perform full range of body motion including assisting patients, stretching, bending, lifting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to exert forces described as very heavy work (100+ pounds occasionally).
• Compliance with NIOSH guidelines for lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure and regulatory requirements.
• Assist patients in a variety of age groups and their families.
• Fulfill community health needs as part of the nursing team.
