Registered Nurse Bronson Battle Creek Surgery PRN (Circulating RN)

Position: Registered Nurse - Surgery PRN (Circulating RN)

Responsibilities include managing patient care throughout their stay, utilizing the nursing process, coordinating with healthcare professionals, delegating tasks, providing physical care, documenting patient responses, and demonstrating competencies specific to the patient population.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, must be obtained within 8 years of hire
  • Current RN license in Michigan
  • BLS certification required
  • Critical care or ALS certification may be required depending on the unit

Additional unit-specific certifications may be required, such as Electronic Fetal Monitoring for Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby/Antepartum nurses.

Standard duties include data collection, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care, along with professional performance and leadership responsibilities.
