Job summary

Broadstep Behavioral Health is seeking an RN to join our on-site team in Simpsonville, SC, supporting children and adolescents in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. You will manage medical needs, document care, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

You must hold a South Carolina RN license with BLS, and have at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in South Carolina (SC).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; behavioral health/psychiatric preferred.
• BSN preferred; strong communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Identify and report changes in condition or abnormal data.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and liaise with internal and external providers.

12-Hour Shifts | 6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM

What You’ll Do

As an RN, you will oversee and support the medical and clinical needs of individuals in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring, assessing, and documenting patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Identifying and reporting changes in condition or abnormal diagnostic data
• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and care teams to implement care plans
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Supporting a safe, therapeutic, and structured care environment
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Serving as a liaison between internal teams and external healthcare providers as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (behavioral health/psychiatric experience preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment

Schedule & Location

• Day Shift: 6AM–6PM
• Night Shift: 6PM–6AM
• Location: Simpsonville, SC (onsite role)
