UVM Health Network- Porter Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Birthing Center in Middlebury, Vermont. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care during labor and delivery, including support for physiological birth and lactation.
The ideal candidate will have a current RN license in Vermont and appropriate clinical experience. Additionally, joining our team offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive rewards package with great community and professional growth opportunities.
The Birthing Center is a LDRP unit in a small community hospital with approximately 325 births per year. We focus on physiological birth and our staff are all trained in labor, delivery of the newborn, transition of the newborn, post‑partum care, lactation support, and stabilization of the newborn who is awaiting transportation to a facility with a higher level of care.
