Job summary

Thompson seeks a Registered Nurse Behavioral Mental Health to provide medical oversight and compassionate care for youth in our program. You will administer medications, maintain medical records, and respond to clinical needs in collaboration with our psychiatrist, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care.

This role requires an active North Carolina RN license, an Associates Degree in Nursing, and the ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts on an as-needed basis in our Matthews program.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

What will you do as a Registered Nurse Behavioral Mental Health?

• As a Registered Nurse Behavioral Mental Health you will Provide medical oversight, care, education, and guidance to the youth in your care. Performance will be measured by your individual outcomes, achieving your individual targets/goals, your contribution to your overall program team/department and your buy-in to the culture of the organization.
• A typical day as a Registered Nurse Behavioral Mental Health consists of medication administration oversight, Medical file record keeping, responding to client medical needs, and working directly with the psychiatrist to provide professional nursing care.
• A Registered Nurse Behavioral Mental Health you will work on an as needed bases where you will work a minimum of 2 shifts per month:

• Starting Pay Range: $35.00-$38.00 hourly

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
• Education requirement for this individual contributor role is: Associates Degree in Nursing or related field.
• No minimum # of years of relevant professional experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Requires a license as an RN in North Carolina.
• Must be available to work as needed on Day, Night, and weekend Shifts.
