Job summary

Cedar Springs Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time nurse supervisor to coordinate and supervise direct patient care in acute and residential programs in Colorado Springs.

You will assess patient needs and implement quality nursing care under the Treatment Team and physician guidance. The role requires CPR certification and a Colorado license or a compact license, with strong skills in crisis management and therapeutic patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be licensed in the State of Colorado or hold a current compact license.
• Ability to direct others, organize tasks, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise direct patient care and program implementation for residents/patients in acute and residential programs.

• Compensation: $35.00/hr. -$52.00/hr.
• 12 Hour Shifts: 7a-7p

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience of nursing care and interventions with psychiatric patients. Knowledgeable of the psychotropic medications, potential side effects, and psychiatric diagnoses. Ability to direct others in the delivery of services, organize multiple tasks at one time, and problem solve situations under a fast paced environment. Ability to safely implement special treatment procedures. Ability to delegate responsibility to others and assure completion of shift duties. Skill in developing therapeutic relationships with clients of all ages, and work as a member of a treatment team.

Experience/Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.CPR certification is also required. Must be licensed in the State of Colorado or hold a current compact license.
