Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its compassionate care team in Chicago, IL. The RN will deliver professional nursing care on a designated unit, aligned with the hospital's philosophy and treatment plan, while coordinating and delegating care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Shifts are 8 hours with options including 11pm-7:30am, 3pm-11:30pm or 7am-3:30pm. This FLEX/PRN role offers a minimum of four shifts per month (two weekends), at a starting

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Illinois (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit in alignment with the philosophy and objectives of Garfield Park Hospital.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care utilizing the nursing process integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Be accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift and promote professional nursing practice on the unit.

Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is dedicated to providing behavioral health and psychiatric support to children and teens ages 3 to 17. Our Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Garfield Park Hospital. The Registered Nurse prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process which is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit. The Registered Nurse is authorized to initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation.
