Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill feature a total of 320 beds. We are a full-service, acute care hospital offering inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. Our behavioral health services include three units: cardiac telemetry and critical care lines. The Haverhill campus offers private rooms, while the Methuen campus features a state-of-the-art catheterization suite and a Joint Center of Excellence, recognized as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary:

The registered nurse provides care to patients in an Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the RN is responsible for delivering patient care by applying nursing knowledge, following departmental and hospital policies, and meeting age-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse must possess excellent assessment, clinical, organizational, and computer skills, along with charge capabilities. The RN should be able to lift, transfer, and move patients. Effective communication skills are essential for documenting care, delegating tasks, relaying information, making referrals, and acting as a liaison among patients, physicians, hospital staff, and community agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure: Current nursing license in Massachusetts required; BCLS certification required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
