Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds. We are a full-service, acute care hospital offering inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units, along with cardiac telemetry and critical care services. The Haverhill campus features all private rooms, while the Methuen campus offers a state-of-the-art catheterization suite and the Joint Center of Excellence, recognized as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

The registered nurse provides care to patients in an Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the RN is responsible for delivering patient care by applying nursing knowledge, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, tailored to adult patients. The RN must adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates must have excellent assessment, clinical, organizational, and computer skills, along with charge nurse capabilities. The RN must be able to lift, transfer, and move patients safely. Effective communication skills are essential for documenting care, delegating tasks, relaying information, making referrals, and acting as a liaison among patients, physicians, hospital staff, and community agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Licensure: Current nursing license in Massachusetts required.
  • Certification: BCLS required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
