Job summary

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the inpatient psychiatric unit, a 38-bed adult unit serving voluntary and involuntary patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.

The unit includes Nurses, Behavioral Health Technicians, Case Managers, Therapists, Psychiatrists, a Nurse Practitioner, and a Clinical Psychologist, with leadership from the Director of Behavioral Health Services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient psychiatric unit caring for adult patients with mental illness.
• Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team including Nurses, Behavioral Health Technicians, Case Managers, Occupational and Recreational Therapists, Psychiatrists, a Nurse Practitioner, and a Clinical Psychologist.

Education

Our multidisciplinary treatment team consists of Nurses, Behavioral Health Technicians, Case Managers, Occupational and Recreational Therapists, Psychiatrists, a Nurse Practitioner, and a Clinical Psychologist. The unit has an engaged leadership team of the Director of Behavioral Health Services, Nurse Manager, Assistant Clinical Manager, and Unit Educator.
