Qualifications

  • BLS Provider credentialed from AHA required prior to hire.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse from Wisconsin Board of Nursing required.
  • RN with approximately 18 months of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care following established protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator for patient care.

    • Department: BehavioralHealth
    • Schedule:Full Time Day - 36 hours per week. Three 12 hour shifts per week. This will include rotating every other weekend and holiday.
    • Hospital:Ascension St. Francis Hospital
    • Location:Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization.

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as
    appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date orjob transfer date required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job
    transfer date required.

Education:

  • Graduate of a board-approved Registered Nurse Program required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Work Experience:

  • RN with approximately 18 months or more experience preferred.
