Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health in the Jackson, MI area. This role supports patients across inpatient and outpatient settings with assessments, medication administration, and therapeutic engagement.

The RN will work within a multidisciplinary team, conduct care planning, and provide emotional and educational support to patients and families, including discharge planning and aftercare coordination.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years in behavioral health setting (inpatient or outpatient).
• Solid understanding of psychotropic meds and side effects.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality per ANA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and create care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor outcomes and side effects.
• Provide emotional support using evidenced-based therapeutic communication.
• Lead or participate in group therapy and educational workshops on mental health.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for discharge planning and aftercare.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)
