Job summary

CDL Labor Logistics is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in an Everett, WA CVOR setting. The role focuses on direct patient care during cardiac procedures, scrubbing in on CABG, AVR, MVR and other complex surgeries, and collaborating with the surgical team.

The nurse will monitor vitals, administer treatments, maintain records, and participate in on-call rotations. Weekend availability is required, with flexibility for case-by-case scheduling and potential floating to other ORs.

Qualifications

• Current active Registered Nurse license in Washington state or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of experience as a scrub nurse in an operating room setting.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participating in on‑call rotation.
• Floating to the general OR as needed.

• Scrubbing in on surgical procedures (CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, Carotid Cutdown, VATS, RATS, Mediastinoscopy, Pericardial Windows, Tamponade, and Minimally invasive cardiac procedures).
• Participating in the care of patients undergoing various cardiac surgical procedures.
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participating in on‑call rotation.
• Floating to the general OR as needed.

Required Skills & Certifications

• Current active Registered Nurse license in Washington state or a compact state.

Special Considerations

• On‑call responsibilities include one weekday call (Monday-Thursday) per week and one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), dependent on staffing.
• Floating to the general OR may be required.
• Block scheduling may be accommodated on a case‑by‑case basis.
• The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 18 rooms and a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
• Scrubs are provided.
• Charting is done using EPIC.
• Parking is paid for by the facility.

Scheduling

• Three 12‑hour day shifts per week (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
• Weekend availability is required.
• On‑call responsibilities are part of the role.
