Job summary

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op Clinic to provide patient education and care prior to surgical procedures. Responsibilities include chart review, history intake, physical assessment, and collaboration with the surgical team to prepare patients for surgery.

Open to external candidates with relocation assistance; position is 0.9 FTE with a Monday–Friday schedule and variable shifts. Requires Oregon RN licensure and BLS; CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in Oregon required upon start.
• BLS certification required upon start.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts and history intake.
• Perform physical assessments and patient teaching.
• Collaborate with the surgical and subspecialty teams to prepare patients for surgery/procedure.
• Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, organization and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.9 | Full Time | Variable Schedule Days

Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79

Shift Differentials

• $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:00pm - 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Information: Pre Operative Clinic is open Monday-Friday, no holidays or weekends.

Position Summary

Our Pre-Op Clinic RN at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center provides quality education to our patients prior to surgical procedures. Responsibilities include patient chart review, history intake, physical assessment, teaching and collaboration with surgical and subspecialty team to prepare patients for surgery/procedure. This position requires strong communication, critical thinking, organizational and multi-tasking skills in fast paced setting.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

License/Certification

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
• CNOR: Certified Perioperative Nurse is preferred
