Asante in Medford, OR is seeking a Post-Surgery Unit RN for a 0.9 FTE night-shift role on a 38-bed unit with remote telemetry. You will care for a variety of post-surgical patients, including MBSAQIP-accredited bariatric procedures, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1–6:1 depending on shift.

The role emphasizes education, performance improvement, and staff mentoring in a fast-paced setting. Relocation assistance may be available for external candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Six months of acute care experience preferred.
• RN license with Oregon State Board of Nursing required at start.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at start.
• Certifications (CMSRN/CBN/CNN/HNC/MSN RN-BC) are preferred.

SalaryRange:$53.99 - $77.79

Shift Differentials:

• $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

Our Post-Surgery Unit cares for a variety of post-surgical patients, including General and Vascular surgery, ENT, GYN, and Urology surgeries. In addition, we are a Comprehensive Center for Bariatric Surgery certified through The Metabolic and Bariatric Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). This is a 38-bed unit with remote telemetry beds. Nurse to patient ratios on Post-Surgery are 4:1 - 5:1 on days and 4:1 - 6:1 on nights.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• Six months of acute care experience preferred

Licensure/Certifications

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

• CBN: Certified Bariatric Nurse
• CNN: Certified Nephrology Nurse
• HNC: Holistic Nursing Certified
