About the Apheresis Department

Apheresis is a specialized procedural area serving outpatient and inpatient pediatric and adult patients. Our nurses care for procedures including Myasthenia Gravis, Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma, Graft VS Host Disease, and others. Our department includes 8 beds at University Hospital, 3 at Riley Hospital, and a supply storage at Methodist. Weekend and holiday shifts are on a rotating on-call basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
• Additional certifications may be required based on department needs
