Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse - PACU for a part-time position with flexible days and on-call requirements. You will render professional nursing care, assess patients, and document progress in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care unit.

The role requires an ADN or higher nursing degree with a BSN within 5 years, IL RN licensure, and CPR/BLS. ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of start. Benefits include premium pay and development opportunities.

What You Will Do

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What You Will Need

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
