Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem shifts. The role offers an hourly pay range of $36.00 to $55.80, with a new minimum of $37.25 base pay starting in October. Hours vary by department; some holidays and on-call shifts apply.

You will render professional nursing care, assess patients, delegate tasks, and collaborate with the team. Required: associate degree or higher, Illinois RN license, CPR, ACLS and PALS within set timelines; BSN preferred within 5

Qualifications

• Education requirements: Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN preferred within 5 years.
• Active Illinois RN license required.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• PALS within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assess patients' condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and records observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks and work as a team member to meet unit goals.

Education

Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

  • ~6 call shift (6 wk schedule)

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
