Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Central Massachusetts is hiring an Oncology Clinic RN for a day shift (0700-1200) Monday through Friday. The position is non-exempt with a pay range of $36.24–$65.24 per hour, with final offer based on experience and equity.

The role involves patient assessment, nursing process care, implementing interventions, and documenting care. A Massachusetts nursing license and ONCC chemotherapy certification are required.

Qualifications

• Experience/Skills: Required:
  
  
  
  • Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
  
  
  • Minimum 1 year of Oncology related experience within the last three years
  
  
  • Chemotherapy-related experience within the last three years

  • Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
  
  
  • At least 1 year experience in Medical/ Surgical nursing.
  
  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  
  
  • BLS is a requirement for every RN unless an advance certification is current (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP). In addition, unit specific certification and competencies are defined in the Unit Profile.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with 1 year in desirable field.
  
  
  
  


• Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
