Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pain Management and Interventional Spine Center. The role emphasizes triage and hands-on patient care, using evidence-based practice to guide decisions and improve outcomes.

The position requires a New Hampshire RN license or compact license, a BSN preferred, and BLS certification with ACLS preferred. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• NH Registered Nurse license or Compact State RN license.
• Ability to obtain BLS during orientation and maintain it.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and hands-on patient care.
• Promote change to support optimal patient outcomes and professional practice.
• Involve patient/family in goal setting and planning and communicate the plan to patient and family.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.

The Elliot Pain Management and Interventional Spine Center at River's Edge is a multi-disciplinary group of professionals committed to the compassionate treatment of patients in pain. The Center specializes in the scientific assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pain-related disorders. We believe that early diagnosis and minimally invasive interventional therapy substantially reduce the number of patients requiring surgery or proceeding toward disability.

Key Responsibilities

Great combination of triage / hands on patient care. Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment. Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings. Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement. Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.

Education/Experience/Licensure

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Licensure: New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License. Technical Certification: Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
