Job Description

Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm (some flexibility if needed). No weekends or holidays. Location: 3333 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI. Preferred Experience: Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferably in an ambulatory/clinic setting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic Endocrinology team and make a real difference in patients' lives! As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Endocrinology clinic, you'll be at the heart of compassionate, quality patient care. You'll lead care coordination efforts, partner with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and empower patients and families through education and support. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans that address each patient's unique endocrinology needs
• Provide expert patient and family education, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient care with precision and professionalism
• Communicate effectively and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless, coordinated care
• Demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in endocrinology specialty practice
• Work independently and in collaboration with principal investigators when appropriate
• Maintain meticulous documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (preferably in an ambulatory/clinic setting)
• Current BLS or ACLS certification per Henry Ford Health policy
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation

Education/Experience Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Prior experience in endocrinology or specialty practice
