Broward Health is seeking a professional nurse in Deerfield Beach, Florida to provide nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. The role involves assessing conditions, administering drugs, and assisting physicians with examinations.
Qualified candidates should have completed a nursing program from an accredited institution, hold a Florida RN license, and have at least two years of nursing experience, preferably with geriatric patients. This position is part-time with essential credentials such as Basic Life Support certification.
Provides professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients. Assesses patient’s condition, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatments, observes patient’s progress, records pertinent observations, and reports reactions to drugs and treatments. Assists physicians with examinations and prepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use.
