Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the ADT, Orthopedics unit. You will provide patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday–Friday. The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Missouri or compact licensure, has BLS, and hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).
• Hospital experience preferred or may be required depending on unit.

Schedule:Full-Time | 40 hours/week

Shift:Day | Monday - Friday 8-hour shift

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
