Job summary

Sheppard Pratt Hospitals in Towson, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Adolescent Male Crisis Stabilization Unit. This on-site role provides psychiatric nursing care, supports treatment teams, and ensures safe, evidence-based patient care.

You will participate in assessments, planning, administering and evaluating care; provide education to families; document progress and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.
• Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
• Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.

Every nurse on the Adolescent Male Crisis Stabilization Unit is provided the tools they need to be successful.

What to expect.

The pay range for this position is $37.08 minimum to $56.83 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience as a registered nurse.

What we need from you.

All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
