  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be obtained within 90 days.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, you’ll have staffing support, technology and resources to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Job Summary and Qualifications: The House Supervisor ensures high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift. The House Supervisor participates as an active member of the nursing management team and assumes authority to manage all activities and personnel in conjunction with and in the absence of hospital administration.

Provide oversight and direction for house-wide nursing operations during assigned shifts to maintain high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in clinical practice (Required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
